Wendy Robbins-Scott teaches Jazz I & II. This is
Wendy's 4th year teaching for us. Her dance experience includes jazz, tap, ballet,
clogging, and theater. She also coached cheerleaders for 12 years. In addition
to teaching jazz, Wendy directs and instructs the Diamond Ridge Cloggers and works for
CH2M Hill Hanford Group.
Wendy's love of dance began in middle school. Wendy
danced and cheered through high school and participated in Richland Light Opera
productions whenever time permitted. She continued her dance experience through
classes, cheerleading, and community productions while obtaining her bachelor's
degree from Western Washington University .
Upon returning to the Tri-Cities, Wendy took up
clogging and was selected to the inaugural dance team for the Chinook Basketball team.
She also volunteered to coach cheerleaders and was later hired as a head coach. Wendy's
passion for dance is evidenced by her enthusiasm and support of her students.
Be sure to have your smile ready whenever you meet her!
